EARLY CHECK-IN & EQUIPMENT CHECK
Location: TBD
Please bring EVERYTHING you will be wearing on the platform including headbands, underwear, socks, etc. If you absolutely cannot get your equipment checked early, then equipment check is still available before you weigh in. Bring a photo ID and your USA Powerlifting membership.
CHECKING IN
Check-ins begin 30 minutes before weigh-ins commence. You will need to bring a photo ID and a screenshot of your 2027 USAPL membership card if it is still missing by the day of the meet. If you do not have a valid membership, you may not compete.
WEIGHING IN
You will need your photo ID. You will need to have your opening attempts in kilograms ready for the referee to record. You will need to have already input your rack heights into the system. Lifters have the option to weigh in in the nude, wearing only their undergarments/underwear, or wearing a singlet and/or T-shirt. Lifters may not weigh in wearing more than their undergarments/underwear, singlet, T-shirt, and socks. Youth lifters must be weighed in wearing a singlet and T-shirt. Each lifter may only be weighed once. Only those whose body weight is heavier or lighter than the class limits of the weight class entered are allowed to return to the scales. Lifters requiring one or more re-weigh attempts must return to the scales and make weight within the limits of the 90 minutes allowed for the weigh-in. Lifters have the option of changing weight classes (up or down) from the one they originally entered. If a lifter knows they need to change weight classes prior to the day of the event, it is courteous to let the meet director know as early as possible so appropriate changes to the lifting schedule and flight configurations can be made.
Please submit weight changes 6 weeks prior to the competition date for planning purposes. If you change your weight class after this date, you may forfeit your opportunity to receive a medal if you place. You will still be allowed to compete.
