2026 USAPL The Odds Series I (NV-2026-03)

This isn’t just a standalone meet—it’s part of something bigger.

The ODDS Series is a two-part qualifying series under USA Powerlifting, designed for athletes who want more than just a total on the board. It’s built around competition, progression, and earning your place against top lifters.

Here’s how the series works:

  • ODDS Series I (May)This is the meet you are currently registered for

  • ODDS Series II (August) – Second qualifying opportunity

Each qualifier is limited to 24 lifters, keeping the platform competitive and focused.

From this meet, the top 6 men and top 6 women (based on DOTS) will earn the opportunity to compete in the ODDS Series Finals in December.

That means:

  • 12 men and 12 women total will advance to Finals

  • The Finals will feature the best lifters from both qualifiers

At the Finals, the stakes go up:

  • Best Male Lifter (by DOTS): $2,000

  • Best Female Lifter (by DOTS): $2,000

This series isn’t just about putting up numbers—it’s about showing up, earning your spot, and competing at a high level with something real on the line.

Since you’re competing in Series I, you have the first opportunity to secure your place in the Finals and set the standard for the rest of the series.

We’re excited to have you on the platform and part of the very first ODDS Series.

  • Weigh-ins by LOT# order (not first-come)

WEIGH IN

Each lifter will be randomly assigned a lot number. Lot numbers will determine the order of weigh-in. During weigh-ins, we will verify your photo ID and retrieve your first attempts in kilos (please use the attached kilo chart) before you mount the scale. Before leaving the weigh-in area, the lifter and/or their coach (if a coach is present) must confirm that all information on the scorecard is correct. The completed scorecard must be signed by either the lifter or the lifter’s coach (or a parent/guardian in the case of a youth lifter). This signature is attestation that all of the information on the scorecard is correct. Lifters have the option to weigh in in the nude, wearing only their undergarments/underwear, or wearing a singlet and/or T-shirt. Lifters may not weigh in wearing more than their undergarments/underwear, singlet, T-shirt, and socks. Youth lifters must be weighed in wearing a singlet and T-shirt. Each lifter may only be weighed once. Only those whose body weight is heavier or lighter than the class limits of the weight class entered are allowed to return to the scales. Lifters requiring one or more re-weigh attempts must return to the scales and make weight within the limits of the 90 minutes allowed for the weigh-in.

If a lifter knows they need to change weight classes prior to the day of the event, it is courteous to let the meet director know as early as possible so appropriate changes to the lifting schedule and flight configurations can be made. This will affect the medal count if you place. You may forfeit your medal if you do not make weight.  Lifters who were absent for any reason when called to the scale will weigh in after all the lifters in the session who were present when their lot number was called had an opportunity to weigh-in. It is ultimately the lifter’s responsibility to know where they are located in the order and to be in close enough proximity to the weigh-in room to hear when their name is called.
